Inventories ($8 billion)

Short-term investments ($8 billion)  * Property, plant, and equipment (PP&E) investments in cars, trucks, and other products that have been built or are under construction at the time they are acquired. This may include lease vehicles on which leases expire within a certain period of time or returns from sales made by manufacturers such as GM who have sold their brands to other companies after being taken over by them (for example GM).

Other long-term assets such as land parcels purchased by companies that produce automobiles but do not make them themselves; buildings used for offices or manufacturing facilities; furniture purchased from suppliers, etc.;

 equipment purchased from vendors such as suppliers when manufacturing plants open up in new locations overseas where labor costs are lower than those found here at home so there's less incentive for them stay here longer than necessary before moving away again once production begins up again after having left temporarily due weather conditions took their toll during those initial months/years following construction completion date set back several months due weather delays caused problems getting started properly until everything looked good enough again -

now this time around though things went smoother because everything was already fixed beforehand instead just waiting patiently hoping nothing would go wrong again next year!
